One Piece Is One Of The Big Three Anime. With So Many Fans These Series Is Continuously Premiering Since 1997. There Are So Many Plots, Twists Seen In Every Season Of One Piece. Also We Have Seen Numerous Deaths In This Series Some Of Which Can Be Our Favorite Characters Too . Here We Have Mentioned Some Of Major Deaths Episode Wise.
ONE PIECE MAJOR DEATHS
Gol D Roger was the king of pirates who conquered the grand line and later surrender himself to government. He was executed on the land he was born and his execution led to the starting of great pirate era.
Kuina was the daughter of the zoro's master. Kuina and Zoro trained together alongside many other members of their village to become the best swordsmen - or women - in the world. Unfortunately, she died in very young age falling down from stairs.
Bellamere was a former marine and adoptive mother of Nami and Nikojo. She was killed by Arlong pirates as the pirates demanded 50,000 berries for each life from every villager. She saved Nami and Nikojo by giving all money she had to Arlong Pirates but unfortunately, she didn't have enough money left for her own life.
Dr Hiriluk was a kind doctor who saved and adopted Chopper as everyone one in the village tried to kill him. He was initially a pirate, but later became a doctor of drum kingdom. The ruler of Drum kingdom decided to kill every doctor of his island except few the ruler had so that villagers beg for life everytime they needed medical attention. He was also killed by the ruler.
- Mont Blanc Noland - Episode 189
Noland was an adventurer and admiral in the Lvneel Kingdom. He discovered a city of gold on Jaya but found upon returning there with Lvneel's king that it had disappeared, causing him to be executed. He was then memorialized in a fairy tale as a liar and trickster.
Kalgara was hero of Shandia and was a extremely powerful warrior who lived when upper yard was still a part of Jaya. He was friend of Noland and waited for his return after Noland's departure from the Island. However, on one fateful day, the part of Jaya where Shandians lived was shot on air by knockup stream and they landed on Skypiea. The leader of Skypiea immediately attack Shandians to claim their land and kalgara started fighting to protect it. Unfortunately, the atmosphere of Sky Island weakened him and he died on the battle.
Tom was the most humble fish-man in One Piece. He was a master ship builder who built Roger’s ship and hence was sentenced to death for helping pirates. He was later pardoned when he invents the Sea Train but was re-instated when the World Government frames Tom for destroting one of there judicial ships. He was taken to Enies Lobby where he was to be executed.
- Nico Olivia - Episode 277
Nico Olivia was Nico Robin's mother. She was also an archeologist and went on seas to study about blank century. After she returned Ohara she was killed by marines and later she was left to die alongside Ohara residents.
- Ohara Island Residents - Episode 277
Ohara was the land where Nico Robin originated from. This was the land of great archeologists who spent their life researching poneglyphs and studying about blank century that was forbidden by world government. The navy buster call destroyed the whole island along with its people.
- Going Merry - Episode 312
Going Merry was the 1st ship of straw-hat pirates. It was gifted by usopp's friend "Kaya". We all know it was more than just a ship for mugiwara crews. Unfortunately, the ship meet his end after Ennies loby arc. The crew members made her funeral by memorizing all the journey they made with Going Merry.
- Portugas D Rouge - Episode 460
Portgas D. Rouge was wife of Gol D. Roger and biological mother of Portugas D. Ace. After Roger's execution the navy tried to kill everyone who was linked to him but Rouge kept herself hidden. While, she was pregnant before Roger's execution she hold her delivery for 20 months to hide the identity of her child from World Government. After giving birth she passed away from exhaustion.
- Portugas D Ace - Episode 483
Ace’s death is the one of the most heart-breaking event in One Piece. The son of Gol D. Roger, Portgas D. Ace joined the Whitebeard Pirates and made a great name for himself. When Marshel D Teach murdered his own crewmate, Ace fought him to avenge Thatch but was defeated by Teach and handed over to World Government. Ace faced execution and the Whitebeard Pirates waged war to rescue him. While Ace was rescued by Luffy and whitebeard Pirates, he ended up giving his life for Luffy to protect him from Akainu.
Edward Newgate commonly known as Whitebeard was known as strongest man alive before his death. He waged war against the Navy to save Ace from execution. Despite being sick, old, and injured, he fought with all his might but ended up dying a legend's death at Marineford by confirming the One Piece's existence in his final moments. Whitebeard was stabbed 267 times, shot 152 times, and struck by cannons 46 times. However even after his death, his back didn't touch the ground.
